Medical Assistant

Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician practice, is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant (MA) to work Full-Time in a busy, fast paced surgical practice in our Savannah office as well as weekly travel to our satellite office locations. Job responsibilities include monitoring of vital signs, reviewing medications, wound care, and assisting physicians. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, can work independently, and enjoys working with a largely geriatric population. BCLS required. Wound care experience, electronic health record experience and MA Certification a plus. Weekdays-No evenings or weekend shifts. Some daytime travel to satellite locations.

Surgical Scheduling Representative

Responsibilities include the overall coordination and scheduling of patient’s surgeries/procedures, coordinating with dialysis centers and physician offices to accommodate urgent referrals, obtaining pre-certifications and authorizations, verifying patient’s insurance deductibles/ co-insurance and charge entry. Candidates should have related experience in surgical coordinating, obtaining insurance precertifications, and CPT & ICD-10 coding. Clinical knowledge and medical terminology experience preferred.

Billing Support Analyst


Join a Growing TEAM! Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician practice is seeking a full time Billing Support Analyst. Responsibilities include handling all original claims submission of GA and SC Medicaid for all providers through the Medicaid portal. This position has responsibility for processing and working the Medicaid pending report and researching GAMMIS for eligibility/authorizations. Once determines patient is eligible, files the claim. Demonstrates expertise with Medicaid claims by staying proficient on regulations and changes in coding methodologies/criteria. Works the Medicaid denials. Corresponds with front office and surgical scheduling for follow up. Responsible for uploading/mailing any requested correspondence to payers.

Assists with payment posting and identifying/processing patient overpayments for refunds. Documents all billing related activity under patient record on the billing system. Responsible for correspondence from all payers.

Computerized billing experience required. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required. Previous physician billing experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding required.

Minimum of two years of physician office experience preferred.

Angiography Technologist

Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician practice, is seeking an Angiography Technologist to work in a busy Access Center and Vein Center providing interventional and peripheral studies. This position supports the surgeons by providing superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding customer service in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
The angiography technologist needs to be proficient in all aspects of angiography, sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Angio Lab. Procedures include arteriograms, dialysis access, port placements, etc. Three to five years Interventional Angiography experience preferred.

Current BLS and ACLS required. ASRT or RCIS required within 6 months of employment.
Full Time, Day Shift, Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends.

Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and management of vascular patients in an office setting. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills to interact effectively with patients of all levels and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team. Minimum of three years clinical experience in internal medicine or vascular preferred.

Current GA NP licensure; Current BCLS. EOE
